The purpose of this chapter is to show complex relationships and dynamics beggining to grow around the central character. It’s also to show how Victor’s attitude towards risk is developing, with regard to drugs as well as his continued effort to be great at everything he does.

This chapter is divided into seven parts:
1) The release and elation of a negative result.
2) The start of a love story with Tanya.
3) Two rivals or allies. Is it really friendship with Nathan?
4) Chasing the club scene and the pursuit of unbelievable highs.
5) The spiritual relationship developing with Dean.
6) Victor & Nathan controlling and influencing others to follow them.
7) Tanya and Catherine versus Victor and Nathan. Catherine and Nathan versus Victor and Tanya. The complex nature of double dating.
